"Fuel" Choice Efficiency

It is widely believed that diesel powertrains will be dominant for long-haul trucks for some time.  For more regional or stop-start needs, however, several technologies are competing for lower-cost and renewable alternatives to fossil fuels and for reducing petroleum imports.  Until battery costs reduce significantly, enabling increased EV range and/or fast charging, HEVs and PHEVs will be the popular fleet electrification choice.  Inventev's technology will displace diesels in many depot-based fleets, provide outstanding all-electric efficiency and give range flexibility for those emergency and seasonal needs.
